Edwardsburg Highschool Performs
Thanks to everyone who helped
organize our holiday party on December 11 at the
Morris Park Country Club. We had a great crowd
this year and several guests. A big thanks to
the entertainment committee made up of Steve Seifert,
Don Wroblewski, Jim Trippel and Kathy Jonas. Steve
took charge of the entertainment and arranged
for the Edwardsburg High School choir, who performed
at the end of the evening. It was a wonderful
way to get into the holiday spirit.
Guest included Mike Dvorak, St. Joseph County Prosecutor; Plumbing
Inspectors Tom Frame and Norm Wiseman; our own State Representative
Dave Niezgodski, and Indiana PHCC Executive Director Brenda Dant. Also
attending were Jeff New and Jeff Stevens from Mid-City Supply and Bruce
Lyons from NIBCO. Other guests included Jim Scheetz, Jeff Devereaux,
Julie Markiewicz, Ashlan Robb and Millie Ftergiotis of Local 172 Plumbers
and Pipefitters. Matt Buzcolich, Executive Director of the Indiana Pipe
Trades, also attended.
Despite coming through one of the toughest economic years in recent
memory, our St. Joe Valley PHCC members demonstrated great generosity
again. $1,970 was raised to help the St. Vincent de Paul Society. On
hand for the invocation was Charlie Thompson, executive director of
St. Vincent de Paul. For those of you who were not able to make the
party and would like to make a donation, just call or email the office
and the arrangements will be made.

Please mark your calendars for the Indiana Expo July 21-23
at Belterra Casino in southern Indiana. I have started my spreadsheet
already for those of you who want a room. It is important that the
state get this information as soon as possible. Remember, this is
available to those of you who are members of the state and national
association. Keep in mind that St. Joe Valley reimburses 75 percent
of your dues to these worthwhile organizations. Dues are based on
the number of employees.
